about me

I’m Anna, a nature lover, poet and artist. I have been a massage therapist for 7 years.

I believe massage is an essential therapy as it allows a safe space for the client to experience a holistic mind & body connection alongside multiple physical health benefits. I habitually have a very nurturing and soothing energy which allows a tranquil environment, assisting my clients in feeling at home with themselves, externally and internally.

Why did I become a massage therapist?

I initially gave massages to friends prior to my training as it felt the most natural way for me to express my care for them. Regularly receiving facial massages further inspired me to study massage as it resonated with me as a ritual. I then enrolled in a beauty and massage course which then transformed into my passion of body therapy.

why I became a Doula ?

Working with pregnant people has continually provided insight into my love of connecting a mother with her internal intuitive awareness through her journey in carrying and birthing life. This has taught me how fundamental it is for the mother to be in tune with mindfully nurturing themselves and her child, especially during pregnancy.

Several years ago for my art exam, I explored animal and human fetuses inside utero as I found it fascinating. This led me to my final piece; a bold painting of a baby inside of the mother’s womb. My fascination with pregnancy all these years along with pregnancy massage awoke my longing to work with pregnant people.

Resonating with the unconditional love that radiates a mother's being when nurturing her baby was greatly influential to how I continually endeavour to help others through doula support and massage therapy. I continually expand my knowledge in mindfulness, psychology, trauma, spirituality, nutrition and holistic remedies which reflects in my gentle and intuitive approach.

“A thorough consultation and catch up from the last session made me feel listened to and gave me confidence that my treatment would be tailored to what I needed at that point in time. It was divine. Anna also taught me some very helpful birth ball exercises to open up my pelvis for birth and strengthen my squat because I'd told her that I was going for an active and low-intervention home labour and birth.

Honestly, I've felt truly pampered, having Anna's undivided attention and expertise during these final weeks of pregnancy. The sessions have been so calm and a perfect moment to relax and get into the mindset of actually getting ready for birth. I used the breathing techniques Anna taught me during labour to make sure that I was relaxed and getting enough oxygen to my uterus. Thank you so much for your time and energy, Anna! I can't wait for other pregnant women to experience this also and will definitely be recommending your service and cheering you on.”

“Thank you so much for this delightful session! In the beginning I had a lot of tension in my head from stress so it was amazing when you were holding these areas as it started to go away. Then when you pressed into the points on the back of my neck, my head and shoulders felt much better. Felt my stress melting away, you having magical hands. My calves are less tense now. I was unsure with the abdomen massage at first although it was very relaxing, I thought I might drift off. I loved the visualisation, I felt peaceful and ready for bed.”
